About Me
Hi, I’m Maegan. I’m a therapist, nature lover, hot sauce enthusiast, and fellow human navigating the complexities of life, just like you. Moreover, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and owner of Wise Oak Counseling.
At the core of my work is a deep belief in the power of connection. I value the interdependence of human nature and believe that connection with ourselves, others, and the world plays a vital role in healing and thriving. My approach is relationship-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed, while affirming and celebrating LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC identities.
Outside the Therapy Room
When I’m not in session, I enjoy traveling, cycling, snowboarding, and camping. I also love a great book, a flavorful (and spicy) meal, backyard squirrel watching, and meaningful conversations with my loved ones.
Being a therapist is my dream job. One of the things I value most about this work is that it invites me to stay present, curious, and reflective in my own life. Whether you’re just beginning your journey or have been doing inner work for some time, I’d love to connect with you.
